Community Outreach

Through our outreach program, we provide training and education throughout the community to help identify and prevent child abuse and neglect.  One of our licensed therapists visits different school sites, boys and girls clubs, Betty Ford Center Children’s Program, local school district events and meetings, and local colleges to educate and bring awareness to the issue of child abuse and neglect.

Parenting Class

On a weekly basis, offered in both Spanish and English, a licensed therapist facilitates a Parenting Skills Group that is offered to current clients of BSCC at no cost. The group was developed to help improve the parent/child relationship, manage difficult behavior, feel more confident as a parent, create a harmonious and stable family environment and to increase your knowledge of child development and child abuse.

Parenting classes are also offered to high risk youth at continuation schools within the Coachella Valley.

AMAC (Adults Molested As Children)

Adult women molested as children share life struggles and support for positive interaction and growth.

Open to the public.
